Boswellia is an extract sourced from the gum resin produced by the Boswellia serrata, a branching tree native to Africa and Arabia. The anti-inflammatory actions of Boswellia have been proven to ease pain, reduce swelling, and improve mobility in those with rheumatoid arthritis or osteoarthritis. Because of its anti-inflammatory action, Boswellia may effectively treat inflammatory bowel diseases, including Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis. Boswellia can further maintain immune activity in the lining of the digestive tract and offer antioxidant protection. Boswellia acids can modulate the inflammatory process that drives asthma, dramatically improving symptoms, including coughs, bronchitis, and breathing disorders. Boswellia acids appear to act in several ways that can inhibit cancer growth. They may prevent changes to DNA and induce apoptosis (cell death) of cancer cells. Other Boswellia compounds, called triterpenoids, have demonstrated antitumor properties.

Suggested Use

For adults, take two (2) capsules one (1) to two (2) times daily, preferably with a meal. Do not exceed recommended dose.
